Tenmagnet and Cajun on picking up women in Sydney Australia
I’ve been in Australia now for almost a week, first at Bondi beach, and now up near Manley. For the most part, I’ve just been surfing, eating healthy and taking in the sun, but Cajun and I have gone out at night a bit, and have gotten a bit of an idea of how picking up women works in Australia.
At first, I was a bit intimidated – Australian guys have a bit of a reputation in Canada for being pretty good with girls; for being confident and aggressive. I thought we might have a lot of competition, or that the women might have big “bitch shields”. So far, that isn’t the case.
What I have noticed, though, is that Australian women respond really well to the kind of indirect approach that we teach at Lovesystems. In a country where the average guy’s pickup line is “Oi! Ladies! Come here!!!” a little bit of witty conversation goes a long way.
Opening with “Oi! Ladies! Come here!!!” doesn’t show more confidence than a good indirect opener. It shows is a guy covering up his lack of confidence by being bold and aggressive, and Australian women see through that. By being witty and clever (which is what we teach at Lovesystems), you really stand out from the pack.
Anyway, Cajun and I are looking forward to testing this theory further. We’ll give you some updates soon.

Hey good to hear you guys are in Sydney! Sorry the weathers a bitch atm ha. When/where are you guys gonna be hanging out? If you don’t mind I could definately benefit from some of that free dating advice you mentioned eariler. Or if anything it would be an honor just to hang out and have fun with you guys and I would be ever grateful to just watch and learn how the real masters roll.

Picking up girls in Sydney is like finding a drum beat in a DC GO-GO song: Easy.
Competition is non-existent for the most part and the other playboys are usually cool.
Lots of International girls to keep even the most variety fiends from twitching.
Need to get back there soon.

Z… thanks for the comment. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to do any meet and greets in Australia this time around. However, I’m hoping to be back sometime later in the year and we’ll try to do it then. I’ll definitely post about it on my blog when it happens.

I just catched up your ‘Picking up women in Australia’ blog. It was a good one.
I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and the problem is that here is like a desert for picking up girls. Almost nobody have sex here and the guys are realy desperate. Here Women and girls don’t want any man (handsome or ugly, rich or poor, Don Juan or geek) approach them. This situation is very exhaustive. I have been in many European countries too, now its almost same everywhere in this damn continent. From Sweden to Norway to Lithuania to Holland and Spain.
So my question is: Is it realy different in Australia? Does girls over there want to have fun with guys? Are they little bit thirsty for men? Do you have any new updates you can share? And do you have any experience from New Zeeland?

Hey!
I’m going to write a blog post in response to this, but most guys think that their town is the toughest place in the world to pick up.
I’ve never been to Stockholm, but the other Lovesystems instructors are pretty much in agreement that it is actually one of the best places to pick up in the world. Sorry to burst your bubble man.
