Q and A

May 27th, 2008 · No Comments

This is a Q & A from the forums at Fastseduction.com. I’ve paraphrased the original question but you can find the whole thing here.

Q: I messed up. I lied to a girl about my age (I’m 18, I said I was 21) and then I called her the next day and confessed. Now she won’t answer my calls, what do I do?

A: First of all, whenever you have something important to tell a girl, and it’s something that is likely going to make her upset, do it in person. You can handle difficult situations MUCH better in person than you can over the phone, and often this can make the difference between her ditching you and accepting the apology.

Calling her on the phone, the day after you first had sex, and just dropping a bomb on her like this is pretty harsh. If you had met up with her in person, had a few drinks and a few laughs before you confessed, she probably would have taken it MUCH better.

Anyway, now you’ve messed it up. There’s no special trick I can give you to fix things, but your best bet is to chill out, and call her in a few weeks. Just be chilled and talk on the phone and make her laugh and see if she wants to meet up someplace fun and non-datey. She might come out, and if she does she might decide she likes you anyway and will hook up with you again. It’s not a sure deal but it’s your best bet.

The secret here is you need to rebuild comfort and trust, probably a lot of it. She thinks you’re full of shit, and you’ll have to prove otherwise. If you can, successfully, you’ll be back to where you were before she found out you were lying.

Also, it goes without saying that you shouldn’t lie in the first place. If you’re young, just don’t mention your age.
