One of my first posts on this blog was plugging the writing of Charles Bukowski, who is an amazing writer and makes me feel good about being the low-life alcoholic I am.
Anyway, I’m pleased to announce that Hollywood has basically ripped off Buckowski and made it into a show called Californication. For those of you who don’t read stuff that isn’t downloaded off some website, this TV show does a pretty decent job of adapting Buckowski’s work.
The character of Hank Chinaski (Moody on the TV show) is pretty much one of the best characters in literature, and for some reason totally reminds me of myself.

I think this is one of the best shows on air. Funny and intelligent-almost too good for tv.

Discvoered the show yesterday, a friend turned me onto it.
Second that it is one of the best shows on air!!!
