Savoy and Sinn have posted recently about some hilarious “shock” openers they’ve been using, with a lot of success.
Here’s one that I’ve been using recently. It’s not the best opener ever, but I like it a lot because it’s fun and it gets some great reactions.
“Hey guys… how long should you wait after breaking up with a girl before you hook up with her roomate?”
Girls: x amount of time
“Ok… here’s the catch, what if you dumped her because she has cancer?”
Girls:
“I mean, do you have to wait for her to die?”
Usually at this point the girls realize you’re messing with them. Then you can tease and disqualify them for either being “too nice” or “too evil”, depending on the response they gave.

I can think of a specific scenario where this wouldn’t go down well: if the girls have a loved one who has/died from cancer.
